Using your Phone with XSEED

How do I need to use my phone for a seamless XSEED session experience?

Pre-Session Connection: We recommend to set up and connect XSEED to your phone with some advance notice before the session (at least 10 minutes priori). This early connection gives you more flexibility and precision in preparing for your session. Turning on XSEED just moments before entering the field could potentially have a negative impact on the reception of data from the integrated GPS in the shinguards

Phone Status: It's vital to maintain your phone with an internet connection both before and after the session. This ensures that data synchronization happens without issues and that you can make full use of XSEED's features. During the session, it is possible to switch your phone to flight mode to avoid any disruptions for you and your teammates

Phone Positioning: Feel free to position your phone anywhere within the pitch area where it's most comfortable and convenient for you.

Internet Connection: While you don't need a continuous internet connection during the session itself, it's essential to have one both before and after to sync data and access specific XSEED functionalities.

Where can I place my phone during the session?

There is no need to bring your phone into the field. You may leave in the changing rooms or wherever is most comfortable for you.

Is an active internet connection required during the session?

How is the ranking system beneficial for XSEED users?

The ranking system provides a comprehensive evaluation of your performance, considering both technical and athletic aspects of your game. By comparing your performance to that of other users, you can gain valuable insights into your standing among your peers. This ranking offers a holistic view of your capabilities, enabling you to set and pursue specific performance goals.

Are there any eligibility criteria for XSEED Player Rankings?

Yes, to be considered for XSEED Player Rankings, you must have accumulated a minimum of 270 minutes of game time. We also take into account sessions lasting longer than 10 minutes and those played on fields set up correctly. This ensures an accurate and valid analysis.

How often are the Rankings updated?

The Rankings are typically updated once a week, ensuring that you have access to the most current and relevant data.

What categories are available for ranking within the XSEED Player Rankings?

There are four distinct categories in which you can be ranked: overall statistics, statistics exclusively from 11-a-side matches, 7-a-side matches, and 5-a-side matches. The 'overall' category encompasses data from players who actively participate in matches of various field sizes, while the others are specific to the respective game types.

What performance metrics are used for ranking within each category?

Once you've selected a category, you will see a list of different performance metrics in which you will be ranked among other XSEED users. These metrics include: XPR (which includes overall, age, and role rankings), xGP90, ShotsP90, CrossP90, PassesP90, Dangerous Touches, Running Distance P90, Number of Sprints P90, and High-Speed Running Distance.

Where can I find more detailed explanations of these metrics?
